These are our top 9 must watch movies of the holiday season.
The Family Stone is one that the hubs and I have been watching since it was released in theaters. I still have my original ticket stub from 2005!
8 Bit Christmas is a few years old, but so nostalgic, and honestly my #1 choice to watch during the season.
The Grinch is hands-down the cutest!
A Merry Friggin' Christmas is not one that would be considered family friendly. The Family Stone probably wouldn't be considered that, either. However, they are deep thinkers with heart-warming endings. I tend to love a little dysfunction in the storylines.
Elf is an obvious choice.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is, first off, a MUST READ! I've never belly laughed so hard in my life reading a story. The movie does it justice with its sweetness. I just love the ham part.
Dear Santa has its critics, but it is another one that makes you giggle from the gut and then, cry happy tears at the end. Don't let the nay-sayers keep you from giving it a try. The young boy, who is the main character, is fantastic!
Christmas Vacation is another no brainer. This is my husband's #1 pick.
Lastly, A Christmas Story Christmas is a newer one and a continuation of A Christmas Story when they are all grown up. I love how the original characters came back to play their roles and it is so funny and cute!
